Show is O P E N, nyc
The show is up and open! Thank you to everyone in New York who came out for the opening. Shoutout to my family who flew from Los Angeles to be there— you made it real special for me 🫶🏽.
There are still two more weeks to see the show! I'll share some installation photos (below), but (if you're able) I do hope you can see it in person. Paint communicates things to our cells that don't quite get through in photos.
Also~ I'll be returning to New York at the close of the show to talk about the work with my brilliant friend Ismail Muhammad. It will be next Saturday, Nov 8th at 1pm at Hesse Flatow.

Some install shots of the show:

It's my last week at the Modern Ancient Brown Foundation Residency and I'm finding myself a little sad to say goodbye to Detroit. I've grown a lot here and am excited to see how this experience shapes me and my work moving forward. Still gotta learn the Tamia Shuffle before I dip!
