new cups & pop-up: Sat May 9

Just a little reminder that this Saturday, May 9th from 11am-4pm uno+ichi will be popping up at Goodfight in Los Angeles for a special coffee event. I'm super excited about this for two reasons:

1) I get to drink really delicious drinks in some very cute ceramics
2) I get to debut some of these new cups

Here's a little bit more about the cups and their story:

Pepperoni

Pepperoni is a young man with early signs of balding but a strong mustache. He wears a plaid shirt and plays with his guitar pedals on the weekends.

Bedtime Rabbit

There are many rabbits in the uno+ichi family. This is Bedtime rabbit, who loves lavender, chamomile, lullabies, and counting the stars until sleep.

Mt. Fuji Man

Mt.Fuji man works at an insurance office whose building has a view of Mt. Fuji. He worked his way up to get this office with a view. People say he his head got shaped that way from staring out the window at the mountain so often.

All of the drinks at the event on Saturday are inspired by these cups and their personalities. The menu is secret, but I will tell you they are going to be AMAZING.
